About JET

In three words…

personable, fun, competitor.

Since taking up cycling 6 years ago, it has become my life. I love cycling in any form; to work, mtb, on the track, road or even indoors! Cycling has delivered some of my greatest life experiences and introduced me to some of my closest friends and colleagues to date.

More importantly, cycling has helped me discover my passion for junior cycle coaching. During my time as the WA Junior Talent Coordinator at WestCycle (the peak body for cycling in WA), it was a privilege to work with some amazing kids (and parents too). Managing and developing state teams, running development camps & working with some of the most talented junior cyclists in the state was an absolute dream.

Since then, I continue to remain involved with the junior scene in WA. I work with a small group of young riders to help improve their cycling ability, safety, skills and most of all, providing a positive role model on and off the bike for them to look up to.

My philosophy as a junior coach (who is still learning) is to focus on introducing young cyclists to a variety of training activities and stimuli - but most of all it has to be FUN!
